Madeline Bergstrom
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Madeline is a compassionate advocate for her clients. After working as a teacher and then a paralegal, she knew that law was her passion and pursued her J.D.
Madeline attended and received her J. D. from Texas A&M University School of Law. After her first year in law school, she interned as a law clerk under a district court judge, learning the importance of zealous advocacy in criminal, civil, and family law cases. During her second year of law school, Madeline not only volunteered with the Innocence Project and the Immigrant Rights clinic, but also worked for a Mass Tort and Fair Labor Standards Act Litigation firm in Dallas, Texas. After spending a summer working for the Office of the Attorney General Administrative Law Division, she spent her third year in law school as the law clerk for a Fort Worth firm, focusing on arbitration, property disputes, and business formation.
Since graduating from law school, Madeline has exclusively practiced family law, specializing in complex divorces and custody battles. She provides creative, individualized solutions to her clients because she takes the time to understand their goals and their family’s needs. Madeline’s attention to detail and dedication to always improving her practice means she offers the best possible solutions for her clients.
Madeline is a native Houstonian who is passionate about her community. When she is not in the courtroom, she is spending time with her partner trying out new places in Houston or at home with their cats. Madeline is an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community in Houston and advocates for all individuals’ rights.
